State of Emergency

She is making her Oct. 29, 2004 State of Emergency Show from Jacksonville, FL. available as a free download (update: the page now has a couple of sample MP3s) until the polls open on the east coast at 7 am Tuesday morning (after that, you can still buy it in her store).
So download it and listen to it on your iPod when you walk precincts (or whatever you're doing to defeat Bush and elect local progressive candidates). I probably don't need to warn people, but if it were aired on radio, it could rack up a lot of FCC fines.
She asks that you sign up for her email list.
Also, the American Friends Service Committee is holding Lighting the Path for Democracy candlight vigils Monday. So far there are over 100 planned in 35 states (it will be at 7 pm at City Hall in San Francisco).
Thank god for Margaret Cho, and thanks for the heads up. I wish Ms. Cho was running for president...
